Two years ago, we sat at the breakfast table in our rural Wisconsin farmhouse and asked ourselves, in today's modern age, why is it so hard to find locally made, homegrown, or handmade goods and products?
What started as an old-fashioned idea -- neighbor to neighbor buying and selling of in-house, cottage industry goods -- turned into a modern day mission....eventually becoming SteadGoods.
Our vision is that local communities to return to local, neighbor-to-neighbor exchange, creating local trust and strengthening community bonds. That in-home industry booms and we find our ways back to a sustainable, person-forward supply chains again.
